All wood expands/contracts with moisture/temperature climate fluctuations. NONE of our wood products are submersible. To clean, dust or wipe with a dry cloth, occasionally with a minimally damp cloth. If absolutely necessary, briefly rinse with room temperature water and immediately dry thoroughly.
